Episode 5 |
The March Forward
_______________________________
A new call has gone out to gather on the National Mall in Washington D.C. The organizers don’t seek to merely commemorate the March of 1963, but are calling on all Americans to get involved again to push Washington to redress the rights that are in danger.
In this final episode, Shukree speaks with his guests in more detail about the issues addressed in the series, where we have been, and where we need to go as a country. Shukree gathers organizers and participants of this new March to ask how we got to this American moment and what is at stake now that we find ourselves exploring the same issues five decades after the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.
